Sales Engineer - Asia Pacific

Position based in the Asia Pacific region.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with excellent communication skills to handle pre-sales accounts for Search Services. You will work directly with Sales to prepare demos, answer questions, and launch customers. Your role will allow you to engage directly with customers on both technical and non- technical levels to ensure superior service as well as interact directly with key engineering support personnel to resolve issues. You should be a confident presenter with excellent verbal skills and be able to prepare and present material to customers on features and products. In addition, you need to feel at home working closely with both our engineering and sales teams.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major.
* 5+ years of technical sales or field sales experience.
* Previous software engineering experience preferred.
* Proven track record of selling solutions to corporations.
* HTML, XML, and scripting programming experience.
* Experience leading a high performance team.
* Knowledge of web technologies.
* Experience working with external clients.
* Experience working in UNIX and Windows environments.
* Ability to work independently.
* Experience working with external clients.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development.
* Ability to interface with engineering teams.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to travel up to 35%.

Flexible with long-term stay and project engagement at other Google locations.
