Global Quality Manager

Purpose: Aerotek, contract engineering, is looking for a high level Global Quality Engineer for a large facility in East, TN. This global leadership role will shape the strategy and create the operating structures for the quality systems within the Manufacturing and Distribution operations.
Responsibilities will be to oversee the design control and validation activities of new products in the R&D phase; ensure research & development project teams are following FDA/ISO regulations; ensure document control; and interact with process improvement teams. This individual MUST have a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering discipline with preference for ME or IE, 5-10 years of experience in quality role in manufacturing environment. Experience with R&D product testing, writing procedures and statistical analysis a MUST. Experience in construction or manufacturing plus experience in a quality related field or Lean Construction/Manufacturing required. 50% travel to include international travel often leaving or returning on a Saturday or Sunday.
