Global Manufacturing Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Global Manufacturing Engineer at our Burr Ridge Division. This position is responsible to work on the following:
·Design and develop manufacturing processes for domestic and international production of Metal Fabricated products.
·Manage new and existing product projects from concept, through product development and production implementation.
·Lead cost reduction and/or improvement efforts for existing products.
·Use Unigraphics to generate detailed product designs, drawings, and facility/cellular layouts.
·Create, communicate and monitor project schedules and budgets. Maintain accurate and organized project.
·Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Product Management, Manufacturing, Accounting, Quality, suppliers) to resolve product-related customer and production issues.
·Apply sound engineering principles and theory to engineering projects.
REQUIREMENTS
·BS/BA in Engineering (MBA a plus) with a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience required.
·3-5 years of managing international operations preferred.
·Previous Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus.
·Previous Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management experience is a plus.
·Sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred.
·Basic understanding of Tooling.
·The qualified candidate shall be team oriented and schedule driven, and must provide a sense of urgency towards project completion.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
·Ability to present recommendations to upper management
·Ability to use applicable computer software including MS Project, Word and Excel is required.
