Geotechnical Engineering Position

Purpose: GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER OR GEOLOGIST Nationwide consulting, engineering and construction firm, that specializes in geotechnical engineering for both residential and commercial development is looking to offer a geotechnical engineer or geologist with geotechnical experience an awesome career opportunity. The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

-Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and contracts for job bidding
-Log and sample geotechnical soil borings
-Perform Slope Stability Analysis using Stabl5 software
-Performing Geologic Hazards Analysis
-Performing structural pavement section calculations
-Perform concrete coring for foundation and in place concrete
strength analysis
-Perform laboratory tests including Atterberg Limits, Proctor
Curves, Moisture/Density, consolidations, and unconfined
compression
-Complete report preparation, including graphics, and binding


Job Requirements:

B. S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology. Professional Registration in either would be an added plus. The most qualified individuals will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will have immediate contact with clients and other technicians.
