Geotechnical Engineer - Project Level

With more than 2,000 staff, Kleinfelder is one of the nations largest employee-owned firms providing engineering, technical and management solutions.This is a Project Manager position in our Reno, Nevada office that involves field investigations, engineering analyses and designs associated with private development, transportation and brownfields redevelopment facilities. Responsibilities include developing field investigation and laboratory testing programs, engineering analyses, development of design drawings, construction specifications, estimated costs and coordination with other team members. During project construction, responsibilities include submittal review and construction observation.Qualifications
4 to 10 years progressive experience in project management of geotechnical projects. Candidates will be required to direct technical projects, provide accurate and timely client management communication, resolve technical problems, as well as develop and maintain client relationships. Candidates will assist in the management of large multi-site client accounts, support/develop opportunities and provide a high level of technical competency on in-house projects and in mentoring junior staff.Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle experience preferred.The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Civil Engineering and a MS Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
