Geologist or Environmental Engineer

Purpose: A Detroit based environmental firm is looking for a GEOLOGIST to join their team.

DESCRIPTION

The geologist will serving as a Staff Geologist for its Detroit area office.

This individual will be responsible for providing geological/hydro geological support specific to performing Phase I/II assessments, environmental investigations, O&M projects, and construction management projects. Responsibilities will also include assisting in preparing reports and other associated technical documents.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in geology or hydro geology. The candidate should have a minimum of three to five years experience in environmental consulting including environmental regulatory experience specific to Michigan. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Candidates with updated 40hr hazwopers will be highly considered.
