Gasification Process/Chemical Engineer

Purpose: Local manufacturing company is seeking a Gasification Process/Chemical Engineer with at least ten years of experience. Qualified candidates must have direct experience with large hydrogen production facilities and using processes for the gasification of solid and heavy liquid feedstocks. Daily duties include: interfacing with the gasification technology suppliers, overseeing outside engineering and design, managing the syngas cleanup areas, participating in P&ID development, and processing both budget proposals and simulation/performance predictions.

Required Skills:

- BS in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- At least ten years of hands-on Chemical Engineering Experience
- Experience working with the design and execution of gasification
projects
- Hands-on experience with hydrogen supply and production
- Experience working with solid and heavy liquids
- Knowledge of CO Shift Systems
- knowledge and understanding of Acid Gas Removal Systems
- Must be a team player with leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
