Facilitate inspection and repair work on GE industrial gas turbine product-line
Develop proposals for potential jobs based on RFQ’s
Work with sales and customers to coordinate shop repair activities
Assume overall responsibility for assigned projects, including shop routers, production schedules, and accuracy of the work performed
Act as primary customer contact for all issues
Review elements of assigned projects on daily basis, including schedules, budget, discrepancies and updates
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of additional work identified above the quotes scope
Coordinate with other TurboCare facilities and outside vendors as necessary
Responsible for all closing activities when project is completed, including coordination with accounting, final project report, storage of all files, and communication of any project risks
Support the quality and safety programs
Support other Gas Turbine Department activities as required
Support other activities outside Gas Turbine Repair Department as neededSummary:Reports to Gas Turbine Repair Manager, manage all aspects of assigned jobs. Work with Sales, Customers, and Engineering to manage assigned jobs and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for assigned projects from inception to final report.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
B.S.M.E. experience in Gas Turbine Rotor Repair or
Equivalency of 2-4 years experience in Gas Turbine Rotor Repair
Must experience in GE Industrial Gas Turbine product-line
Should have experience using Microsoft Project to monitor all production activities
