RMT, Inc. will utilize your GIS training and your environmental related degree and/or experience and allow you opportunities in project management and client development at its Greenville, SC office.


The Position -This position will provide GIS technical support, system administration and maintenance, data management and analysis, map production and training of staff in GIS methods. In support of environmental management projects, the individual will provide a technical role on project teams including a wide variety of site investigation, data evaluation, environmental permitting, corrective action, solid waste management and construction projects. Depending on the candidate, the position may include business and client development, project oversight and quality control/quality assurance reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements - A BS or BA degree in engineering geography, environmental science, hydrogeology, geology, civil engineering, geological engineering or other related study . A minimum of three years of experience preferably with an environmental consulting firm will be required. Technical skills with specialized GIS experience and relational database management systems as well as with ESRI ArcGIS and major ArcGIS extensions is desirable. Basic understanding of SQL syntax and computer programming languages.
