This leadership position within the Controls COE is responsible for leading a team focused on Turbine Control and Electrical System Products, including control fulfillment for GE Energy Business in both new unit and aftermarket.Essential Functions
Lead a global engineering team in control design, requisition, structuring, validation and commissioning of turbine controls systems and electrical system products.
Partner with Global Supply Chain in designing and delivering products that are competitive in the marketplace and meet customer demands.
Maintain Controls COE and Supply Chain integration with GE Profit and Loss centers.
Drive integration across the Controls COE, identifying and combining talent and skills with other P&L's for regional customer fulfillment.
Lead Playbook Growth (SI, SII) and Session C process, ensuring proper resource allocation and retention strategies are in place.
Maintain diligence and a sense of urgency within the team in meeting business. metrics, including COQ, Customer deliverables, TIMES schedules, COO/FE manufacturing milestones and PAC.
Partner with the Productivity and NPI teams to incorporate customer requirements into the product with validation plans for new features.
Champion Total Cost Productivity initiatives through partnerships with EED teams in accessories and component design, improving cost position for our products in the marketplace.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership position.
