A Cobalt Senior Design Integrator has a passion for Flash programming, front-end code, interface design, and mentoring others. If this sounds like you, read on.Primary Responsibilities Take static Flash files from Design; reconstruct as needed to work with dynamic data.
Provide informed, innovative recommendations regarding the use of Flash and JSP/HTML/CSS/DHTML to meet a variety of business needs.
Communicate changing project requirements and priorities to project teams.
Mentor other Integrators and Designers in Flash development practices and strategies.
Create efficient, imaginative and sophisticated solutions to front-end problems.
Develop high quality, front-end code following established Integration processes.
Function as liaison between Design and Development to ensure accurate implementation of specified design and functionality.
Assess the technical feasibility of proposed designs.
Evaluate workflow diagrams and initial mock-ups; make technology recommendations that support optimal construction, maintenance and performance.
Estimate the time needed to complete the Integration phase of projects.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies.
Track and enter time consistently.Required SkillsA college degree or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of integration experience in a software development environment, interactive agency, design firm, or Web-publishing environment.
Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal).
Expert-level Flash ActionScript (versions 1 and 2) moves.
Experience developing Flash applications utilizing OOP practices.A demonstrated ability to import and manipulate dynamic XML data using ActionScript.
Expert-level chops hand-coding HTML 3.2 and up.
Advanced proficiency with cross-browser/platform CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript.
Facility with JSP or other related technology (ASP or PHP) and some knowledge of Java.
Advanced Homesite; intermediate-to-advanced Photoshop, Illustrator/Freehand, Visio.
Strong knowledge of Perforce (or other version control system).
Can work in a development environment with build and configuration management tools.
Comfortable in Windows, Unix, and Mac environments.
Proficient with graphics cutting and optimization issues.
Detail-oriented; able to work and manage files in an extremely organized manner.
