L-3 Communications Titan Group, Intelligence Solutions Division has an opening for a Fleet Support Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


The USMC Team Portable Collection System Multi-Platform capable (TPCS-MPC) project has a field systems engineer position opening at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This individual is responsible for coordinating and providing the daily support of TPCS-MPC equipment and usage at 3rd Radio Battalion, Kaneohe Bay, HI to include the following project tasking requirements: system upgrades and problem reporting, technical support and assistance, training, system administration, technical reports, system troubleshooting, removal and replacement of faulty components and inventory control of TPCS-MPC spares. Provide support in special testing events to include Field User Evaluations, Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V), Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT).
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


Three years experience with Marine Radio Battalion SIGINT/EW collection systems, communication systems and concept of operations. Experience in training development and instruction. Must work well with others, being a member of a geographically dispersed team as well as being a self-starter and able to work in an environment of little to no direct supervision.

Must have current TOP SECRET Clearance AND must meet the requirements of DCID 6/4.


DESIRED:


Two years hands-on system administration experience with Windows 2000/XP and Solaris verison 8, 9 or 10. Microsoft and/or Sun certifications beneficial.
