Field Technician - Medical Devices

Become a part of our world class team.Draeger Medical has an immediate opening for an experienced technician to support our customers in the Norwalk CT area.The candidate will be responsible for performing periodic manufacturers service and responding to emergency calls on Draeger Medical products. Additional responsibilities include setting up and testing new equipment in the hospital setting and overseeing after market updates to equipment. Duties include record-keeping, inventory management, and working with sales as a team member to promote the sale of new products. Please note that the work requirements include regional travel and overnight stays.
REQUIREMENTS
•Requires 1- 3 years technical experience in electronic/mechanical, or biomedical engineering experience
•Experience with monitoring, anesthesia and/or ventilation equipment preferred
•Good communication and customer relations skills are required
•Networking experience helpful
•Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and repair required
•Good computer skills
