Field Tech, Low Voltage Wiring

568Systems seeks highly-motivated, team oriented individuals to install high-quality structured wire cable systems for data, voice, and video communications networks, as well as security, alarm and intrusion detection systems. Also includes the installation of copper and fiber optic cable for both inside and outside plant systems. We currently have openings for T-2 Apprentice positions as well as T-2, E-2, or C-6 Licensed Technicians.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree from a technical school is preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years related education and/or experience is required; prior Apprenticeship experience or T-2, E-2, or C-6 licensed technicians preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening test, as well as have and maintain a good driving record and clean background check. Must be able to: perform work on overtime, weekends and/or alternate shifts; adapt to changing work requirements, environments, and/or schedules; distinguish colors (must be able to pass the Ishihara Color Test); lift a minimum of 50 pounds; endure periods of pulling, bending, stopping, squatting and kneeling; effectively utilize basic hand and power tools; climb and effectively utilize ladders; work at height and in confined spaces.
