Field Services Engineer-California

Business Unit: GE Industrial, Consumer & IndustrialFunction: ServicesResponsibilities: * Perform start up on all Zenith related equipment, Automatic Transfer Switches, Paralleling Switchgear and Scada Systems.
Start up new equipment.
Service existing equipment.
Perform PM, repair, modifications on existing jobs.
Implement PLC programs for generator controls and load management.
70% travel is required as well as 24-hour emergency call service.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Two years related experience or a strong background in electrical troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working with mechanical and electrical products.
Must understand relay logic and ladder diagrams.
Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
PLC programming and knowledge of power products (generators, transformers, etc.)Desired: * EM1/2 (E6/5) Nuclear Operator.
