Field Service Engineer - Memphis

FANUC AMERICA Corporation, an international leader in High Tech Factory Automation, is a wholly owned subsidiary of FANUC LTD.

We are currently seeking a Memphis based satellite Field Service Engineer to join our world-class team servicing customer sites in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida and Puerto Rico. Position reports to our Marietta, GA office. Comprehensive on-the-job training and support includes approximately 4 months training in the Marietta office, and 1 month in our Chicagoland headquarters. Company vehicle, and appropriate tools and equipment are provided.

Responsibilities Include:
·Travel to customer sites, with some overnight travel (approximately 4-5 nights per month) required
·Performing troubleshooting and repair of CNCs, control motors and drives, industrial lasers and precision machines.
·Providing hands-on technical assistance and customer support.

Requirements:
·A.A.S. Technology degree or equivalent experience
·BS-EET preferred
·Knowledge of/experience with electronic test equipment, electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems
·Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
·Excellent computer skills
·Familiarity with CNC or PLC is a plus
·Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
