ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.

Instructs customers in the basic operation and maintenance of the systems.

Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.

Provided technical training to customers.

Writes technical documents such as service manuals or update bulletins.

Manages customer accounts.

Scheduled customers service requests and prioritizes pre-scheduled maintenance as well as making all travel arrangements.

Follows customer safety protocols during installation onsite. .

Should be prepared to travel overnight in occasion without notice.

Must be available for 30% domestic/regional travel with little or no notice.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Position requires a minimum of an Associates degree from a 2-year college or technical school in electronics or advanced military electronics, or equivalent military experience and training, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with laboratory experience is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 to 6 years experience servicing automated electro-mechanical instrumentation. Programming, application/method development experience is highly desirable. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 4 years directly related field service experience and possess excellent organizational and customer skills. Must work well independently and as a team member. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid driver's license and be able to rent a car.
