Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Job - IMMEDIATE NEED for FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER for Northern Louisiana location. Key position function will design, develop and implement processes and operations for plants and systems, as well as serve as primary technical resource/expert for troubleshooting. Position responsiblities include: calculating fluid flow and performing equipment sizing analyses for turbines and pumps; optimization and expansion of processing operations; project feasibilty, cost estimating, design specifications; simulation of processes and pipeline hydraulics, and process flow diagram projects using technical software.REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE a BSChE, BSME, BSEE, or other engineering discipline with relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years related work experience, proficient PC/software skills, project management skills, ability to read and understand Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s), working knowledge of: compression and separation, fluid flow, piping design, distributed control systems (DCS), SCADA design and process control basics. Should be able to use HYSIS. Professional Engineering license is a plus! Incumbent can travel to position from another location. Some travel to other field locations and work in process facilities is needed. Position has options for contract or permanent employment based on the needs / interests of the candidate.
