Field Inspector - Geotechnical

Purpose: Geotechnical Field Inspector This position is a full time position in the greater Sacramento area.


Local environmental and geotechnical engineering firm is looking to hire several qualified individuals to join a team of professionals for soils compaction testing throughout Northern California. Technicians will need to have 1 -10 years experience in the field and posses a nuclear density gauge certification.


These individuals will be responsible for soils compaction testing using a nuclear density gauge. We require that individuals maintain daily reports on all daily activities. Other materials testing such as asphalt and concrete will be performed at supervisors discretion. Interaction with internal and external customers will be required on a daily basis as well.


Ideal candidates will posses a nuclear density gauge certification and preferably their AWS, ICBO, State DOT and NICET certifications (field and concrete). These individuals will need to have a positive attitude and not be afraid to work hard towards a career in a very lucrative field.
