Field Engineer - Monitor Solutions Diagnostic Cardiology
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: ServicesResponsibilities: *Completing regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance, installation and corrective repair calls on designated equipment
Managing repair parts inventory while maintaining proper cycle counts
Completing Functional Inspections on designated equipment
Maintaining customer service logs and information and internal service records
Proactively managing daily communications with customers, with emphasis on customer loyalty and satisfaction
Providing daily communications with customers to ensure problem resolution and follow-up while leading to customer loyality and satisfaction
Managing tools and test equipment inventory ensuring diagnostic tools are properly calibrated as required
Developing and maintaining working familiarity with General Electric's Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety requirements
Managing vendors service delivery processes in compliance with GE Healthcare policies ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and intimacy. Maintaining strict adherence to General Electric's Spirit and Letter Policies
Utilizing General Electric's escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving
Actively participating in sales opportunities within your area of control in such matters as new business development, additions to existing contracts, contract renewals and assisting with promoting and implementing other revenue opportunities
Working as a member of a local service team to provide high impact, quality service to all accounts within an assigned area
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 10 years experience servicing electronic equipment
Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
Willingness to travel 60-75% within your specified local geographic region
Willingness to take a drug test
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Candidate must be willing to work out of an office or home office located in Houston, Texas
Must have a valid driver's license

Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Windows.Desired: *Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry
Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns
