Location: North Eastern U.S. (Offices in Boston Area, but home location is somewhat flexible)
Salary Range: $80-$100K Base plus Quarterly Commission Structure (uncapped, but roughly an additional $50K annually)

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, Field Application Engineers to provide technical assistance to Corporate Account Managers, Account Managers and Application Engineers within the Eastern Region. The expectation is the delivery of revenue targets and the implementation of our business objectives. We have a well-established and rapidly growing client base and need critical FAE support in our Eastern U.S. Market.
Products to be Supported:
We produce the world's first and only unified electronic product development system that allows engineers to take a design from concept to completion within a single application. Our tool brings together hardware, software and programmable hardware development within a unified environment that allows all aspects of an electronic product to be designed and managed within a single system. This, combined with modern design data management capabilities allows our product to transcend traditional tool boundaries, opening up new design possibilities that allow more intelligent electronic products to be created faster than ever before.

Primary Responsibilities:
?Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, trade shows and seminars.
?Establish and manage technical relationships with customers, partners and industry leaders.
?Serve as the lead for RFP’s and customer proposals.
?Reduce sales cycle by helping Sales Rep. to drive the sales process with strategic accounts.
?Expand regions pipeline within targeted accounts.
?Provide second level support for new FAE’s and AE’s as needed.
?Work with management to ensure the efficient collection and analysis of customer information and market data while ensuring effective communication of the requested information to management.
?Participate in strategic and tactical planning as related to the region, and the driving and closing of business.
REQUIREMENTS
Requisite Skills:

?Sound knowledge of Verilog / VHDL.

?Strong EDA Tools (Mentor Graphics / Cadence – Allegro, Virtuoso, etc.) experience.

?Strong C Level Client / Applications Support experience.

?Expertise in Pre-Sales and Field Applications engineering, hardware, software, applications design, and technical support.

?Strong FPGA and PCB Design and Applications Experience

Requirements:
?BSEE or CE degree required
?5+ years high tech technical/pre-sales support (software or similar technical products).
?Ability to work in a fast paced/fluid environment.
?Excellent communication skills: verbal (presentations) and business writing.
?Proven skills in creating and implementing programs with measurable results.
?Ability to handle multiple tasks with detailed follow-up.
