Field Application Engineer ~ Power & Telecom Industry Expertise ~ Necesita Hablar Espanol
Here's an excellent opportunity for a highly fluent English/Spanish-speaking Field Application Engineer to leverage their hands-on mechanical or engineering background in a technical sales support role. Your understanding of DC power systems, battery backup power supplies or wireless/wireline gear makes you an ideal candidate to explain why ReliOn's hydrogen fuel cells are ideal solutions to provide much longer lasting backup DC power for critical applications and communication systems. We'll look to you to educate and evangelize customers in Central and South America and throughout the Caribbean about this next generation solution. You'll join the most successful fuel cell company in the world. ReliOn has something of value in this emerging, yet "sky's the limit" industry ~ a viable commercial product. No one has sold more. The feedback from your interaction with customers will directly influence how we sell and develop our product line, and make us the dominant supplier in your territory for any company, utility or government application involving backup power sources. Relocation to the Miami area may be provided as well as an H-1B visa transfer. Travel in this role is expected to be 50% to 70%.

REQUIREMENTS
As our Field Application Engineer based from a ReliOn-outfitted home office, you will first receive thorough training on the technology underlying our PEM fuel cells. You will serve as the technical expert, supporting our field sales representative so your ability to explain the engineering aspects of our products, and to understand the prospective customer's current systems and installations, will be crucial. As the technical expert during sales presentations, you will answer questions from telecom engineers, procurement and purchasing agents and other customer decision makers, presenting the rationale for using our fuel cell alternative, and underscoring the incredible value proposition that fuel cells have over batteries and diesel generators. As prospects become customers, you will have a chance to really be hands-on and tactical, as you evaluate sites, make deployment recommendations, and work through power systems design issues. You won't wear a suit as you use meters, wrenches and other hand tools to replace an electronics board, perform a firmware upgrade, and provide other mechanical and electrical support in the field. When products are sold, you will also assist with onsite customer training, and play a role in subsequent design of our field training program. As noted, you will travel 50% to 70% of the time and it will be crucial that you think, speak and write clearly not only in Spanish, but also in English. You will share suggestions and feedback from the field with our product team in Spokane, Washington. This information will impact our product direction and must be clearly understood by our engineers. This is a tremendous opportunity for the motivated, self-directed individual to work with a high degree of autonomy and represent an environmentally green product that is ready to take Latin America by storm.
