Failure Analysis Engineer

In this position, the individual will analyze secure memory cards and other new product failures. Determine root cause of failures. Develop test programs and utilities to assist in analyzing failures, verifying functionality, regression testing and product qualification. Develop Python tests and utilities working with other engineering groups to verify firmware and product functionality and compliance. Define and develop new methods and utilities to automate and improve failure analysis process and data collection capabilities. Support Quality & Reliability group test suite, software tools, and data collection and analysis needs.This position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience in engineering environment preferred. Experience in Python, drivers, encrypting and security programming a plus. Knowledge of logic analyzers, oscilloscopes a plus.The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
