FRENCH CAMP. MS INSTRUMENTATIN & CONTROLS TECHNICIAL For our Choctaw Generating Station, a 804-MW, combined-cycle plant located in FRENCH CAMP-MS, Reliant Energy seeks an I&C technician to install// calibrate/troubleshoot/maintain computers, monitoring and control equipment for HRSGs, steam/gas turbine generators, and plant auxiliary equipment and establish/maintain Maintenance Management program using SAP. Require 2+ years of formal training in electronics/instrumentation/ engineering/related field or 2 years of military experience in electronics repair/calibration; 4 years of industrial in electronics repair/calibration; and 10 years (including Apprentice Training Program) of industrial I&C maintenance experience in repair/inspection/calibration/troubleshooting of power plant equipment. Knowledge of electricity/voltage/current relationships and ability to learn mechanical./electrical control equipment and power plant equipment operation; operate/use multi-meters, loop calibrators, frequency devices, megger and oscilloscopes; use a PC/associated software; and operate forklifts/man-lifts and maintain certification(s). You must reside within a reasonable distance from the plan tin order to respond to calls 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Competitive salary/benefit package.
