FIELD APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Astec Power, a division of Emerson Network Power, seeks a Field Applications Engineer for the Northern MA area. This position is responsible for providing technical support and application assistance to our customers in the regions. Assure a high level of service to Astec customers on engineering discussions. Act as liaison between Astec Factory Engineering and the customer. Assist in sales process by providing technical proposal - schematic, block diagram details, manage specification interpretation and ensure schedules met.

Through collaboration with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations you will be responsible for maintaining the technical relationship with the customer to develop and provide products in response to customer needs and market opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and 3+ years in the power electronics industry. Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics, understand power designs/components, compliance testing/specifications, and project management experience. Candidates with solid DC-DC module design and/or application experience will be given priorities.
