FAA Flight Service Engineer

As a recognized leader in the staffing industry, Kelly Engineering is in search of an experienced and highly motivated individual as an FAA Flight Service Engineer for a major defense industry supplier. Requires 10 years FAA or military flight service experience. Provide knowledge and experience of Flight Service operational, logistical, and functional requirements to management, engineering, and on-site personnel. Act as liaison with Air Traffic and Technical Operations personnel on issues involving system and facilities interfaces and support. Prepare, coordinate and/or review documents including written reports, feasibility assessments, facility drawings, maintenance and support requirements, and technical specifications, and report on results. Evaluate change proposals and problem trouble reports and identify impact on Flight Services systems. Maintain databases and schedules to track system implementation progress. Requires bachelor's degree (8 years FAA or military Flight Service experience may be substituted for BS degree). Must have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Project 2002). This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position located in the DC Metro area. US Citizenship is required.
