VOLT is one of the world's leading Technical Service consulting firms, a recognized leader in the IT and Engineering arenas.Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yields and productivity goals. Provides a level of equipment maintenance support that will result in improved machine availability and performance, and manage equipment resources to improve equipment management indices, such as cycle time and cost of ownership. Will perform periodic scheduled maintenance and unscheduled troubleshooting on thin films (metal deposition) and supporting equipment.
We will be testing in New Mexico on September 28th and 29th, but the openings are in Dallas, Tucson, and Houston.


Requirements:

Associate Degree in electronics or related technical discipline or equivalent formal military electronics training and two years or more experience repairing and maintaining semiconductor equipment. Candidates must have experience with one or more of the following semiconductor toolsets (200 or 300 mm): CVD, PVD, Etch, Implant, Photolithography, Metrology and/or CMP.
Must have the skills to troubleshoot problems down to the root cause and correct the problem, followed by verification. Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics, maintenance manuals, engineering sketches, drawings, and test equipment. Strong electro-mechanical and electrical skills a must. Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office software suite and other job relevant software applications.
