Environmental Project Engineer

Purpose: Nationwide environmental consulting firm with numerous Bay Area offices actively seeks a project-level environmental engineer to add to their talented staff of professionals for ongoing and future projects centered around environmental remediation and remedial construction.

Candidates must have a BS (MS preferred) in the civil, environmental or chemical engineering disciplines, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have 4 or more years of experience with a consulting and/or engineering firm serving in a project management role that includes tasks such as:
-project scheduling
-subcontractor oversight
-owner/client interaction
-delegation and allocation of budgets
-report writing
-sampling and data collection
-knowledge of applicable state and federal requirements and
regional policy
-technical engineering support
-soil and groundwater remediation design, implementation
-remediation system installation, operation and maintenance

Professional engineering certification is not required but those candidates with their PE are highly desired and will be strongly considered. Additional qualifications and experience could include knowledge of GIS techniques and applications, AutoCAD, proficiency in MS Access, Excel and Word as well as the ability to work in different, changing and sometimes difficult environments.
