Environmental Planner

Purpose: A regional Civil and Environmental consulting firm is looking for Environmental Planners for their Irvine office. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 2 - 5 year Environmental Planner to collaborate on environmental documents and related technical studies for a wide range of land development and infrastructure improvement projects throughout central and southern California, in accordance with current CEQA and NEPA requirements. Responsibilities include research of existing plans and technical studies, preparation of a variety of studies and reports, assistance preparing support graphics, and occasional presentations to public agencies and organizations. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master?s degree in Environmental Studies, Planning, or other related field, and possess strong technical writing and analytical skills. Familiarity with the Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration environmental requirements, MS Office, Adobe, and GIS is also preferred, as is experience with regulatory agency permitting. Occasional travel and fieldwork may be required.
