ROLE: Environmental Compliance Leader (co-own environmental compliance with terminal compliance and facility management for 22 facilities in 6 states.)



Support Compliance Audit in an audit of environmental compliance and Environmental Compliance Self Assessment, specific duties include Prepare or oversee technical content of audit protocols and baseline for formal audits Facility environmental risk assessment and audit frequency assessment Process and requirements for environmental corporate internal and facility self assessments Findings resolution and issues management. Manage environmental measures and environmental release reporting and tracking process. Track environmental emerging issues in government and industry (regulatory, statutory, and best practice) and develop and execute corporate strategies to address these issues. Manage issues and coordinate regulatory interpretations and implementation with appropriate legal and technical resources. Coordinate and lead development of consistent environmental training programs. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies when appropriate and develop credentials that benefit the company. Develop environmental management systems (and guidelines as appropriate) and performance goals appropriately considering EMS certification such as ISO 14001 and Texas EMS requirements. Have the vision to attain world class environmental performance.







Role: Supervise Professional Support Staff, which includes supervision and development of 5 environmental professionals to be key contributors to FHR's long term success.



Set results based clear expectations and perform periodic performance reviews. Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and given responsibilities where they can make the most valuable contribution to FHR. Assist employees in the management of their personal development plans to help them improve performance








REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0% Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Analytical 5 years experience dealing with environmental compliance matters Strong presentation and training ability Bachelors Degree Must be able to travel 35%


Preferred Skills / Experience 8 years experience dealing with multimedia environmental compliance matters in petroleum industry, preferable with terminal operations. Supervisory and/or employee development experience Bachelors of Science in Chemical or Civil Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
