Environmental Safety and Health Specialist – Fortune 500 Company
Relocation to Midsouth area required. Company has excellent relocation package.Salary $55,000 - $65,000 (Plus full relocation and excellent benefit package)
NOTE: We are not seeking Corporate EH&S candidates, but rather individuals who handle the day in and day out functions at the plant level.
Fortune 500 Company offers excellent opportunity for EH&S professional who can lead department and company in the right direction. Have responsibility for day to day EH&S functions in a medium size state of the art facility. Will facilitate Safety Team meetings. Will have close interaction with all management at the facility. Implement proactive accident prevention practices to safety. Will also interact with Corporate EHS professionals. Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Maintain all safety programs. All documentation and reporting that is related to safety. Facilitate involvement of all employees in the EHS program. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Health & Wellness, Forklift Safety and other safety related practices. Experience in a Lean environment is major plus! REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree required.2. At least 3 years EH&S experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Sorry experience as a consultant only will not qualify for this opportunity.3. Someone with excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels.4. We are not seeking Corporate EH&S candidates, but rather individuals who handle the day in and day out functions in a manufacturing plant.
