Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager

The newly created EH&S Manager will establish, promote, and maintain programs, policies and procedures that will assist the company in creating and maintaining a work environment which is safe for employees and does not endanger the community while accomplishing the organizations business goals. The EH&S Manager performs and coordinates the environmental and safety support functions for company operations.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess:
? 5 - 10 years of progressive EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
? B.S. Chemical Engineering/ Industrial or Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent degree. Masters preferred.
? Excellent knowledge and expertise in all aspects of federal and state environmental and OSHA codes, laws and regulations
? Strong organizational skills including document management, tracking , results follow-up
? Strong problem solving skills
? Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
