Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.
Job Description
Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client’s employees or the client’s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. The Application Outsourcing specialty incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

We support our business process and application outsourcing work by providing an “end-to-end” set of technology infrastructure services.
As a Entry Level Outsourcing Technical Analyst, you will work in a unit at Accenture that has been established to service a large North American communications company.
Key responsibilities may include:
•Assisting in analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, people, technology, etc.
•Assisting in the development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, supporting technologies
•Developing deployment deliverables (communications, training, etc.)
•Performing application design activities (e.g. writing functional designs)
•Performing portions of technology architecture and infrastructure design activities
•Participating in performing portions of technology build, test, and deployment activities

REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Technologies
Project, Internship or work experience in the following technical area:
•Unix, Java, C++ or new technology experience
•Familiarity with Web components (WWW, E-Mail, etc.)
Development/Integration Skills
•Understanding of the overall Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
•Experience with the detailed design, coding, testing and/or production support phases of the SDLC
Academic Requirements
Track record of outstanding academic performance in one of following preferred majors
•Computer Science / Computer Engineering
•Information Systems / Decision Sciences
•Engineering (all disciplines)
