Entry-Level Geologist

Purpose: Our client, an environmental, engineering and construction management consulting firm with multiple California offices actively seeks an Entry-Level Geologist to bring onto their staff full time.

Candidates will need a Bachelors (preferably a BS) in Geology, Geological Sciences or a related field and be open to minor traveling (Bay Area only) with a majority of on-site field work. Candidates need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to work outside and carry field equipment and be able to interact with professionals in the construction and environmental fields and officials from county and state regulatory agencies.

Project tasks can include, but are not limited to, soil and groundwater sampling, subcontractor observation, testing and analysis, report writing, minor calculations, owner, client and regulatory agency interaction and other similar, related tasks.
