Engrg-Material and Process 3

Provide technical knowledge and expertise in the research, development, testing, implementation, and application of metallic and non-metallic

materials and processes in support of the manufacture of aircraft components. Provide consultation and specification interpretation to the manufacturing discipline as well as all support groups of the manufacturing function, starting with the intial design phase of the project to end product acceptance by the customer.



Responsible for process development and technical support on multiple new development and/or sustaining production programs.

Responsible for establishing and leading teams in the resolution of complex technical problems in the feild of both metallic and non-metallic materials and processes.

Review, determine cause, and recommend corrective action for nonconformance material and/or process related conditions.

Propose, develop, evaluate, and initiate reports on processing techniques on current as well as new materials, substitutions and replacement for established and/or new programs.

Act as the technical consultant and liaison for both internal and external customers.

May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor"&tm;s degree or equivalent and six years of related experience.
