Manufacturing Engineer
Seeking a talented "hands-on" Manufacturing Engineer to support a major automotive manufacturer. You will work with a team to resolve body shop tooling issues. The line is being validated/certified, torn down, shipped to the permanent location and set back up again. You will work directly with a Dimensional Engineer to reduce tooling variation. Additionally you will certify checking fixtures and follow stamping dies into production. Desired candidates will have prior experience in Manufacturing and /or Dimensional Control, fixtures and gages, hands on tooling troubleshooting skills, GD&T Skills, and be familiar with automotive parts assemblies. Position covers lodging, mileage (travel) to and from the plants and per diem. Candidate must be willing to work in Milan TN for a few months and then follow the job to completion in Meridian, Mississippi. Expected to run through Jan 2007.
