Engineering Technicians

We are looking for 5 Engineering Technicians to work a minimum 9 month contract at a north Austin computer company.


This position requires a PC background, motherboard architecture knowledge, the ability to analyze boards at the circuit level, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and an Associates degree.

REQUIREMENTS


You must exhibit the following in order to qualify for this contract position:
Windows Knowledge:
Be able to operate and load the OS efficiently
Able to load the OS
Able to install drivers
Test Equipments:
Proficient in using oscilloscopes and voltmeters
Debug Skills:
At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting/analyzing/debugging motherboards.
Soldering Skills:
Able to remove or solder chips (10 legs…)



The following Optional Skills would be a PLUS:
PC background:
Networking experience (Able to setup a test network)
Voltage regulator knowledge

Test Equipments:
Analyzers (PCI, Front Side Bus, Sata, SCSI, IDE)
In circuit emulation tools (Ex: Antron)
