Engineering Supervisor III (2006-086)

Responsible for managing personnel within a functional discipline and establishing technical direction, while enhancing performance of the department to meet customer and business needs.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, other supervisors, department management and planning functions to determine project team members, assignments and responsibilities.
Assist in the establishment of methodologies to resolve process issues. Guide personnel in design activities to maximize commonality between projects projecting a coherent support approach to system requirements.
Interface with working level customers to convey support approaches, technical direction, and promote customer confidence. Assist in the development and maintenance of the department budget. Deploy strategic implementation plans and establish and deploy departmental policies. Fosters an environment that enhances personal growth and career development through mentoring and training.
REQUIREMENTS
•Broad experience in electronic circuit design, electrical system design, automation systems
•Prior experience in a supervisory position or effective demonstration of team leadership abilities
•An interest in power conversion topologies and the control regulation thereof
•Knowledge in the use of documentation software such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
•Must be a United States Citizen
•Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology required•7 years minimum of Test Engineering experience required, and 2 years of supevisory experience or demonstrated team leadership abilities
