Job Description:
Ideal candidate will have exceptional computer, IT and technical knowledge including related certifications (MCSE or equivalent)
Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts in the resolve technical issues from the customer base.
Provide secondary assistance and training to Harris Customer Service staff on DAM technologies, features and functions
Assist in the training of new staff members
Perform functional testing and debugging of high-level customer technical issues.
Test and verify newly reported bugs and document how to re-create them so that the Engineering group can successfully resolve them.
Install, repair and perform maintenance on equipment.
Ability to learn and retain knowledge in the full line of Harris products
Provide technical phone support to DAM customers and DAM field staff. This is required during normal business hours and for after hours on call emergencies.
Candidate must demonstrate a proactive customer demeanor, be able to work under pressure and enjoy working in an independent, autonomous atmosphere.
This position requires frequent travel of approx 50% of the time.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
Plus 14 years of related work

Experience:
At least 3 years experience maintaining IT systems in a corporate environment is desired.
MCSE Certification or equivalent
Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000/XP operating systems is required.
Microsoft SQL server experience is required.
Strong TCP-IP networking skills is required.
Must have ample experience with network architectures, WANs, LANs, Switches, Routers and Hubs.
A background in IT technology and how this technology fits together within a facility is preferred.
A technical background with experience in computer science and/or electrical engineering.
