Engineering/Quality Manager

We are a manufacturing company located in North Carolina. We are seeking a top-notch individual to lead our Engineering and Quality departments. This individual will manage the launch of new products and ensure a quality product is delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a BS in an engineering discipline and have progressive management experience. Heavy tooling and project management experience is required for success in this role. Experience in leading quality and continuous improvement is a big plus. We offer a competitive compensation package – relocation is negotiable. REQUIREMENTS
•B.S. degree in Engineering required with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience including progressive management experience. An M.S. degree is preferred
•Experience with implementation of standards and procedures required to achieve and maintain quality certifications (i.e. QS, TS 16949, etc.)
•Knowledge of multiple problem-solving methods (i.e. Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiment, etc.)
•Experience with external customer and supplier relationships required
•Must have above average communication and organization skills.
