Engineering Manager (Central Dev. Labs)

Duties:
This position will require the candidate to provide leadership for test engineering and central engineering labs to support test equipment, test documents, and testing of new products in development, as well as supporting manufacturing test equipment sustaining for brake control systems and cabin solution products. The candidate will be responsible for utilizing test planning in support of new product development; Development programs are properly staffed with test resources to ensure timely success; Test equipment is designed, developed, documented, and validated utilizing industry and aerospace group best practices; Common tools and processes are leveraged by the test group to the largest extent possible; Intellectual capital and career growth development of test department personnel; Collaborate with subordinates to determine key goals and objectives, and corresponding metrics to be completed during a determined period (usually one year); Review and amend these actions as appropriate; Focus on timely achievement of these goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Keys:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related Science or Engineering field (Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace, Physics); Minimum of 7 years experience in aerospace technical environment. Proven leadership ability, including demonstrated ability to form and lead cross-functional teams. Good technical writing and communication skills.
