Engineering Manager

Purpose: This company is a manufacturer of specialty/custom Hydraulic Cylinders. They design and manufacture cylinders for markets such as, defense, aerospace, construction, agricultural, forestry, food processing, material handling and many more. They are a very fast growing company, and has recently moved into a new facility. This position is a great opportunity for someone that is ready to move into a management role.

Position Description:
Qualified candidate will have their BSME and have held a position in a similar field (Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Cylinder Design) Candidate will be leading a group of 5+ engineers/designers/drafters, and will be responsible for project management, customer interaction, and working out the kinks of the production floor. Someone with a background in Manufacturing Engineering would be a huge plus. Other responsibilities for this position include:

- Quoting projects according to customer specs
- Putting together the raw materials list
- Managing the engineering department (Engineers, Designer, and Drafters)
- Involved in the design review with customers/other engineers
- Performing FEA Analysis
- Responsible for the engineering calculations of cylinders
- Customer Interaction and dealing with any issues that may arise
- Work very close with the president to penetrate and continue growth in new markets
- A knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD is HUGE

Position Requirements:
- BSME
- 3+ years in Fluid Power Industry (Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Cylinder Design,)
- Someone that is in a Design Engineer/Engineering role would be the best fit
