Engineering Dispatcher

Department: EngineeringThe Engineering Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and dispatching calls by the telephone and two-way radio, and then logging all information regarding the disposition of the call. Candidates must be familiar with the operation of a fire/life safety system and all of its components, and able to respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls. Requires a minimum of two years experience in a high volume dispatch center, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
