Plans research and development programs and exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives. Ensures application of best practices and identifies the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools. Translates contract requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks. Plans, schedules, and leads others to produce technical work responsive to customer needs within allocated budgets. Contacts customers, teaming partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to exchange technical data and to discuss project performance. Manages customer and supplier relationships and participates in development of fundamental approaches to projects and of requirements for implementation. Apply knowledge of engineering principles and techniques; company policies, processes and procedures; and regulatory requirements in order to design and develop wire harnesses and connectors to support required installations. Competencies Ability to integrate a system-functional design into the physical components for installation and to release production drawings to perform compliance verification, and review and approves supplier designs.Notes: Job will be located in Everett or Renton Washington
