Engineer - Product Quality Engineer

Assist Director of Quality/Technical Manager on quality/technical product evaluations, inspection, testing, prototyping and calculation. Provide technical and quality support to Company employees and customers. Assist the Director of Quality on Zy-Tech quality management system in accordance with ISO Q9001-2000. Perform basic stress and flow calculation.
1.Plan and coordinate product testing activities at Zy-Tech at receiving and random in process inspection.
2.Perform and prepare product related evaluation, prototyping, failure analysis reports.
3.Support Zy-Tech Quality Management System per ISO Q9001-2000
4.Provide design support to suppliers, modifications Department and customers.
5.Plan and perform special product related R&D testing
REQUIREMENTS
Prefer a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology degree. Experience in quality systems/management (ISO Q9001-2000), Valve related knowledge of ASME, API, and ASTM specifications are highly preferred.
Knowledge of basic stress and flow calculations, technical drawings, and valve design. Writing and editing ability on designs required.

Ability to read, speak, write English language. Basic technical knowledge ofIndustrial valve design and manufacturing process. Understand applicable industry Standards for quality programs and product specifications.
Ability to coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
