Engineer II - Documentum Systems Engineer
In this role, you will architect and implement enhancements and new applications, client server or web, for the QSLibrary system as business and regulatory requirements indicate. You will create validation documentation and perform/support test execution. You will also perform System Design Specification maintenance and make updates to BOPs related to the QSLibrary System.

In addition, you will plan and perform Documentum-based server software upgrades/migrations in coordination with IT, based upon business requirements while maintaining compliance with FDA standards and Hospira's BOPs. You will perform Docbase administration (user account maintenance, daily production support, unlocking, deleting, troubleshooting, user request and problem log maintenance, full text maintenance). You must also support other areas of the Quality Systems department or other departments implementing Documentum-related technologies, as required.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must possess:

Bachelors Degree is required.
Client/Server and Web-based programming proficiency and strong architectural and design skills.
Documentum administration experience is necessary.
A strong understanding of FDA regulations, including CFR 21 Part 11, pertaining to computer systems.
Documentum server/Oracle database upgrade/migration experienced advanced and troubleshooting skills.
Programming Languages: Documentum: Docbasic, DQL, RightSite, Workspace API. General: HTML, Javascript, XML, Java.
3-5 years experience as a Documentum based developer or equivalent experience with other enterprise software.
1-2 years experience working in a regulated environment.
Effective teamwork, communication, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or as a member of a project team.
