Engineer, Electrical/Electronics Senior

Job Responsibilities:
Schneider Electric, the global leader of electrical distribution and control products, has an opportunity for a Senior Product Engineer in the Knightdale, NC facility. This electronics engineer will support the maintenance of currently released electronic based product designs with respect to quality, performance to published standards, manufacturability and cost including design modifications to support improvements to product's performance, reduce product's cost or incorporate additional features.Major responsibilities include: Product Safety, Customer Support, Manufacturing Support, Work with Design Engineering for the transition of products from Design to Production, and manage programs for product design update.Requirements: BSEE with minimum 5 years experience with analog / digital design, application, and programming, experience with software development utilizing assembly language and/or "C" is a plus but not required; hands on experience with electronic test equipment (i.e. logic analyzers, emulators, meters, prom programmers, oscilloscopes); experience with the practical application of industrial automation products as well as the manufacturing processes utilized in the production of such products; experience with program/project management, highly motivated, good interpersonal skills, self directed; and experience with the qualification of electronics based products including performance to Standards Agency's requirements (i.e. UL, CSA, CE, FM, IPC).Schneider Electric Company is an equal opportunity employer.
