Engineer - Development

We are currently seeking a Development Engineering who will design and revise electrical schematics, harnesses, routings, installation diagrams and rework existing electrical harness documents; Complete tasks related to product release systems and production support systems; Work with personnel in other departments, divisions, and functional areas to build design verification mock-ups and validate correct system operation; Create pre-serial engineering releases to answer customer work orders and meet production demands; Design to meet applicable industry recommended practices, proprietary and international specifications, internal and external customer expectations, sound engineering practices and government regulations; Assist in responding to production issues; Learn about technological and product development in the area of responsibility; Provide suggestions for product and process improvements; Complete assignments in a timely manner.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a technical degree in a closely related field. The candidate will have recent verifiable CATIA V5, V4 and E3D experience; At least five years electrical product design experience in the automotive or aerospace industry; Electrical design experience, including harness design, routing, and component selection; Ability to analyze circuits and electromechanical systems, including simple stress analysis; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as personal computer office automation skills; Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems design; Knowledge of CAD systems and processes; Working knowledge of schematic design; Working knowledge of release processes and product structure.
