Engineer Analyst

SAIC: FROM SCIENCE TO SOLUTIONSTM The Advanced Systems Group is looking for an Engineer/Analyst to provide analysis support for the Missile Defense Agency architecture studies. The selected candidate must be familiar with elements and segments which comprise the Missile Defense capabilities. In particular, one or more of the following element areas; weapons systems, sensor systems, BM/C3 and platforms. The candidate will be expected to support the customer in a fast paced environment with assessments and products. The candidate will be expected to participate in study teams and support one or more of the following activities, problem identification, study planning, data collection, data consolidation, model setup, model execution, data extraction, data analysis and study report generation. Use of Modeling and Simulation tools may be required in fulfillment of the analysis needs.

Education: BS or higher in engineering, physical science, computer science, operations research, mathematics, or other technical fields is required.

Candidate must have an active Secret clearance
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills: The selected candidate should have at least 5-10 years general technical experience, 5 years specific MDA engineering experience. The selected candidate will be proficient in MS Office Suite. A detailed understanding of at least one of the Missile Defense elements or segments is important. Some experience in one or more: UNIX, LINUX, NT and Windows. Excellent people and organization skills are a must. The selected candidate must have the ability to work in a rapid paced environment. All applicants for this position must possess at least a SECRET clearance in order to be considered for employment.

Desired Skills: Previous Missile Defense experience would be a plus. Modeling and Simulation background and programming background is also desired.
