Duties/Responsibilities: Design and preparation of plans for roadway and site/civil projects. Bridge hydraulic design, and natural channel design for stream restoration projects for NCDOT, SCDOT, and municipal clients. Duties include geometric layout and drainage for roadway projects. Education: (Minimum) Bachelor of Science degree in Civil engineering. Experience: (Minimum) 8 years of experience in highway design with experience working with VDOT and municipal clients. Other Required: Registered professional engineer. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills. Additional Education, Experience and/or other Qualifications: Experience providing construction engineering services for roadway and related projects. Experience in participating in public hearings. Experience in participating in interviews and presentations to clients. EEO M/F/D/V
